This year's second high school dance will be Thursday, January 26th. Donations are needed to make this event a success!  Please contact our Leadership teacher. Email raul.murillo@twinriversusd.org if you can donate:


- Popcorn kernels
- Corn oil (for popcorn)
- Cheese (any kind for cheese & crackers)
- Crackers 
- Corn chips
- Salsa
- Punch

- Soda

- Water
- Apple cider
- White plastic table cloth (100 ft roll)
- Gold plastic table cloth (100 ft roll)
- Black plastic table cloth (100 ft roll)
- Ballons (gold & black)
- Clear plastic cups


As a reminder, the time spent getting and preparing donations can count as parent hours. Please contact Mr. Murillo or the main office for details.

Buy your tickets today for CCAA's annual Father Daughter Dance, Friday February 10th from 7-9:30 PM.  This is open to students K-12.  Tickets are only $20 per couple, with $5 for each additional daughter (to a maximum of $30 per family) on presale, and all procceeds support the 6th Grade Science Camp.  See attached flier for more details, or to preorder your tickets by Jaunary 31st.

Do you know our crab feed is coming up?! Please help us make it a success!

We are requesting that each class put together a “gift card” basket to be auctioned off at our crab feed. In order to avoid duplication and help us make the most money at our auction, we would like to request that each class stick to the theme below for their basket. Any dollar amount in the basket would be appreciated as long as the card is labeled. We appreciate your help to raise as much money for our kids as we can!

K -           Fast food (examples, McDonalds, Taco Bell, etc)

1st –        Grocery stores (examples, Costco, Safeway, etc)

2nd –       Family activities (example, Mini Golf, movies, etc)

3rd –       Coffee Lovers (examples, Starbucks, Dutch brothers, etc)

4th –        Sports (Big 5, REI, etc)

5th –       Family Friendly Restaurants (examples, Chipotle, Old Spaghetti Factory, etc)

6th –       Car Lovers (examples, Quick Quack car wash, Kragen Auto Parts, etc)

7th –       Pets (examples, Petco, Grooming salons, etc)

8th –       Online Shopping (examples, Amazon, Itunes, etc)

Know how you're going to pay for college?  There are many opportunities to get free money for your education through scholarships.  Most are open to multiple grade levels... and some are even open to junior high!


Asian Pacific Islanders for Professional and Community Advancement (APCA) has a scholarship open to all qualified graduating high school seniors of any ethnical or cultural background. Applications are due January 31http://www.apca-att.org/scholarship.html


Equity Scholarship recognizes service to the LGBT community.  Visit www.equityscholarship.org to apply by February 1.


The Schwab-Rosenhouse Scholarship is for local area Seniors, applications due February 9.  Visit http://jewishsac.org/schwabrosenhousescholarships to apply.


The local Active 20-30 club Scholarship is open to female seniors, applications due February 21.  Use attached application.


Operation Recognition offers Juniors & Seniors a scholarship for an essay on a patriotic topic.  See attached flier, due April 21

Want to join the family at CCAA?  Applications for the 2017-18 school year are being accepted at both school offices through Tuesday, January 31st @ 4 PM.  All complete applications submitted by the deadline will be entered in our February 9th lottery for available spots.

The 2nd Annual Crab Feed & Auction

music, auctions, dancing and of course a delicious crab dinner. 

Dinner includes Shrimp cocktail appetizer,

 bread, salad, pasta and crab.
